Adoption Coalition of Arkansas VIII Adoption Coalition of Arkansas VIII

Mission Statement

Mission Statement:  The mission of the Adoption Coalition is to aid in the placement of foster children in permanent, adoptive homes by recruiting adoptive parents and assisting in the recruitment of additional foster parents to improve on the children's quality of life while they are in the custody of the state. Our focus is to find a permanent home for every child waiting for a forever family.

Somewhere there is a bright-eyed little girl in foster care, and she wants and needs a family. She longs to play dress up in her mother's clothes and dreams of being "Daddy's girl". Are you the loving and committed family she is waiting for?

Or have you thought of the little boy who is waiting for his forever family? This little boy dreams of playing ball with his dad and of hearing his mom cheer him on.

Perhaps you have considered adopting siblings. A few energetic and loving children will bring an abundance of love and laughter into your home.

The Adoption Coalition can help. We are a collaboration of civic groups, faith-based groups, Department of Child and Family Services and caring citizens that want to help find a forever family for every waiting child. There are approximately 500,000 children in foster care in the United States.  We can help you make a difference in a child's life.

We are excitedly awaiting the grand opening of our Heart Gallery Exhibit.  It is a moving portrayal of the children who are awaiting their forever families.  Our photos hope to capture the heart and essence of each child.

Not everyone is called to adopt, not even everyone is called to foster, but everyone is called to care.  Check out our committees page for more information on how you can get involved today!
