I have read Ashley's book and it is great - a true picture of what foster children can go through and what some children adopted at an older age think about it. Many parts of her story are sad and gut-wrenching, but to see what a wonderful young lady she has become is truly amazing! I contacted her to see if she might be able to speak at the State Foster Parent Conference in May, but it just so happens that she'll be graduating from college that weekend!! |
